The Mountain Complex
Located in the heart of our country is a world class, highly secure above ground, subterranean facility. Built inside an Ozark Mountain, this facility is considered by many mining as well as warehousing experts to be one of the best if not the best facility of its kind in the United States. The following items make it a great facility.

The Facility Itself
The facility was created by Table Rock Asphalt Company by mining dolomite limestone. Currently, 250,000 square feet of the mine has been sectioned off and converted to a secure facility that houses The Mountain. The remaining approx. 3,000,000 square feet (75 acres of clear, usable space) is available for conversion. This area has a ceiling height of 34 feet so a three story building could be built inside giving up to 225 acres of space. This would be more space than was in the World Trade Center twin towers. In addition, there is over 15 acres available for parking as well as the area above the mine itself.

The major points that make this facility so great are as follows:
- Its physical size. 75 underground acres available with a total cubic volume of space is estimated at over 100,000,000 cubic feet.
- Its placement inside a dolomite limestone mountain. The mine was created by mining into a mountain. Most other underground facilities are created by digging down into the earth, then mining horizontally. This method of mining creates a flat roof that is prone to leaks. Our mine has a “pitched” roof that facilitates rain runoff, creating a very dry interior.
- Its air quality. Being located above ground helps create a higher air quality than below ground. The current warehouse area does not allow trucks or trains inside so air quality remains high as well as providing protection from vehicle bombs.
- Its roof and ceiling. The roof is from 40 feet to 167 feet thick. Government mining specifications require a minimum of 17 feet with the columns placed at 35 feet apart. The government mining specifications further require support columns of only 15 feet square, but The Mountain's are four times that size at 30 feet square. The ceiling is “split bolt stabilized”, meaning 5 foot holes are drilled into the ceiling and a steel roll pin with a bottom plate is pushed into the hole, totally stabilizing the roof. This basically creates a 5 foot, “rock beam” across the entire facility. This type of rock does not require any type of stabilizing procedure, but the owners of the mine went ahead and split bolt stabilized the entire mine.
- The support columns were laid out in perfect aligned grid pattern, making the utilization of the space inside the mine very efficient. There is 35 feet of clear space between each of the 30 foot square support columns.
- Its ability to be secured with little effort. There are currently only 4 entrances to the mine plus a ventilation shaft. These five openings are the only entrances that would need to be secured in order of totally secure the entire 75 acres of underground area. However, if additional openings are needed, the ability to add additional openings is simply a matter of mining from the inside to the outside.

The Location of the Facility
- Located in the heart of our country, just outside of Branson, Missouri. It is just one (1) mile from a four (4) lane road that leads to US Highway 65 (also four lanes) that is 45 miles from US Interstate 44. This area has been designated as a SBA Hub Zone because of high unemployment.
- Located in a seismic zone of 1 in a range of 0 to 5, with 5 being the highest hazard. NOTE: Seismic zones of 0 are located in areas of the United States that do not have rock formations.
- An airport (Point Lookout-M Graham Clark--PLK) capable of handling corporate jets is only 15 minutes away with an airport that has commercial traffic (Springfield-Branson National Airport--SGF) is 50 minutes away.
Utility Support for the Facility
The facility has nine water wells, its own sewer system, and is served by White River Valley Electric. White River has six different sub stations that can feed the facility with two major transmission lines. The data center will have two 750 KVA back up generators in case of power outage. Also, Empire Electric also serves the area.
The facility also has two (2), fiber optic rings to the data center. A third and fourth fiber optic companies are also considering bringing their fiber to the data center. This should provide adequate bandwidth for just about any type of Internet connectivity requirement.
